While no one really does this race for the stuff, we are excited to offer snazzy trophies, top prizes, finisher awards, swag, and raffle prizes. Prizes typically include free entries to the overall winners, custom Yeti mugs, socks, bike tools, chain lube packages and more. The raffle prize is a $900+ Velocity USA wheelset.
Categories: age groups, single speed, fatbike (3.7″ min.), Clydesdale/Athena, tandem, 200-mile two-person men’s and mixed relay, and 100-mile two-person open relay categories. We’re also introducing a “four fun” four-person relay. No trophies for that one but will give prizes.
Clydesdale requirements are that your weight must be greater in lbs. than 3x your height in inches (e.g., 6 feet tall = 72 inch x 3 = 216 lbs)
Men’s age groups: Under 25, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
Women’s age groups: Under 40, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Top Finisher Trophies & Prizes
The trophies will be highly coveted, handcrafted from Michigan hardwoods. Prizes will be “pick what you want” with first place finishers getting first pick, etc., and will include sponsor gift cards and gear (multi-tools, lubricant, tire repair tools, socks, etc.) based as much as possible on what surveyed riders said they like best.
Finisher Awards
All finishers will receive a tumbler or beer mug (your choice) and a “200” decal/sticker. See the Race Information page for photos and details.
Beat the Sunset Award
Everyone completing the 204-mile course by official sunset time (9:33 pm usually) will receive the traditional wood block award or the laser-cut wood “badge” for your shelf, glue on a bike box, etc.
