Sometimes it’s not the finish line that matters. It’s the struggle that went before.  – author unknown

Key Stats

  • Route: Ludington to Manistee National Forest loop
  • Distance: 101 miles
  • Elevation Gain: approx. 2,600 ft (pre-ride; 1,600 by computer)

The course will ONLY be signed at two-tracks, snowmobile trails and other intersections where some added clarity might be needed. Signs often fall down, get stolen or, worse yet, reversed. You are required to use turn-by-turn GPS/TCX instructions on a navigation device or cue sheets. At a minimum, you MUST have printed cue sheets with you throughout the race. We HIGHLY recommend you set up both so you always have a back-up. If all else fails, find someone to ride with all the way in.

GPX & TCX Files

GPX file is a basic GPS track, compatible with most GPS devices.
TCX file is a GPS track with turn-by-turn directions, compatible with newer GPS devices.

Cue Sheets
Final 100-mile cue sheets (PDF). Trim to 4.25″x 5.5″, seal. Custom made – street names will match street signs. Distances to turn calculated with Garmin. Other bike/navigational computers should be similar. Do NOT use embedded cue sheets in Ride with GPS or Strava.
