Sometimes it’s not the finish line that matters. It’s the struggle that went before.  – author unknown

Key Stats
Route: Au Gres at Lake Huron to Ludington at Lake Michigan
Distance: 212 miles
Elevation Gain: 4,700 ft. per Strava (likely a little more)
Ride into the sunset  cut-off (9:02 pm): 14 hours, 49 min., 13.75 mph
Final cut-off (3:12 am): 21 hours, 10.0 mph

You are required to use cue sheets; turn-by-turn GPX/TCX instructions on a GPS bike computer is highly recommended.

The course will ONLY be signed at two-tracks, snowmobile trails and other intersections where some added clarity might be needed. Signs often fall down, get stolen or, worse yet, reversed so it’s best to trust GPS files and cue sheets.

TCX file is a GPS track with turn-by-turn directions, compatible with newer GPS devices.

Cue Sheet
Custom cue sheets with all the details, cautions, checkpoint info, etc., to come. For now, take the GPX into Strava or other programs. In Strava, select Print to access and print cue sheets (a lot of ’em!).
